The hike would begin at the Ann Bailey Trail Parking lot in Watoga State Park.  The cabin, built in 1887 by Andrew Jackson Workman and occupied by his family until 1912. is now owned by Watoga State Park. The tour will be led by ken Springer, and Sollie Workman, a great -grandson of Andrew Workman.

The moderate hike takes approximately an hour one-way along park trails to the site of the cabin and family cemetery, so with round trip and time to visit the sites, the tour would take three to four hours.  Pack a lunch and enjoy the holiday weekend learning about this historic site and pioneer families of the area.
